Ojective :
The objective of the SERVEAU project is to design a software to measure the overall energy balance of urban planning projects and to help to design them. It will be necessary, for the same program of urban planning, to be able to validate the energy choice defined within the project, and to quantify the energy consumption during all the stages of its life cycle: during the phases of construction, use, maintenance, and end of life (deconstruction,...).
In order to meet the energy challenge, the tool will be able to contribute to the design of energy-saving projects by optimizing the energy balance. The tool must intervene at the earliest stages of the process oh development project, from programming to the definition of a development plan. It will follow the actors of the urban planning from feasiility study to realization of the preliminary project, going through the sketch. The tool will be necessary for the project owner and the multidisciplinary team that surrounds it, for the design of the project. Through this integrated approach to development, energy can play a major role while respecting the sensitivities of the various actors involved in the project.
Résult :
From the SERVEAU software Sanecity is born, a modeling tool for the energy optimization of your urban expansion or renovation projects form the guide plan.
Developed with the polaris graphics platform, its main objectives are :
- Improve the sustainaility of cities through bioclimatic urban planning at the scale of the urban project
- Modeling thermal loads applied to the building and the autonomy in natural lighting
- Compare solutions and optimize energy consumption using an iterative approach
- Identify sensitivities to design choices
- Study the impact of the level of gentle accessibility and the density of pulic transport stops on the modal shift...
